1. Take foot baths a few times a week

Foot baths have excellent effects on joint and muscle relaxation along with blood circulation. It is recommended to take a foot bath for 10 to 20 minutes in warm water, covering your entire feet, at least 3x a week.

If your legs are easily swollen or you have varicose veins, a foot bath that alternates between hot and cold water will help alleviate the discomfort. You can do this by soaking your feet in hot water for 1 minute and then dipping them in cold water for another 10 seconds and repeat this about 15 times.

We recommend using our Aroma Spa collection, pedicure in a box for the most reinvigorating experience while taking foot baths. The soak that comes in the box containing aromatherapy can help you relax as you enjoy at home foot baths.

2. Foot massages promote blood circulation

Foot massages stimulate the nerves distributed in the soles and the tops of your feet to promote blood circulation. These massages can help discharge wastes, toxins, and reduce swelling. Also, with intensive massages near the foot and between the toes, they can help relieve fatigue as smaller muscles are concentrated in that area. To increase the impact of massages, it is recommended to take a foot bath before a foot massage.

Another way you can massage your feet throughout the day is placing a ball (e.g., tennis ball, massage ball, etc.) under your feet and rub it back and forth. This works especially well when you are sitting. Alternatively, you can press the instep of your foot with the other foot gently to massage the muscles as you’re sitting.

It is common to use lotion or cream for during a massage, but if you want to enhance your experience at home, we recommend trying our Serum Spa collection. This collection is a pedicure in a box that includes a 6-step pedicure process. It comes with a lightweight massage gel that can be left on your feet and legs without the need to wipe or wash it off. Also, the massage gel is very hydrating to the skin.

3. Apply a Foot Mask Twice a Week

You might be familiar with applying face masks for your skincare routine. Like face masks, there are also foot masks for your feet. It will keep your feet well-hydrated and moisturized to apply foot masks at least twice a week. In addition, foot masks can also relieve tension in the muscles along with stress.

If you’re looking for an easy-to-use foot mask as part of your foot care routine, we recommend trying our Jewel Spa collection. The collection contains pedicure in a box products that includes a leave-in foot mask that does not need to be washed off. It is very easy to use and greatly impactful!

To keep an overall healthy foot, the fundamental ways are to wash your feet in lukewarm water, dry your feet completely after wash, trim your toenails to an appropriate length, and apply moisturizing cream. If you take the extra steps of taking foot baths, foot massages, and applying foot masks, these approaches will contribute positively to your foot health.
